queen size quilt top.

I recently finished my queen sized guest bed quilt top and posted process pictures on my instagram page. I'm currently waiting on batting to ship and am wrestling with a backing color.  I'm telling you, more quilt tops have hung in my closet, unquilted, waiting for a backing color decision to be made.  I've determined not to let that happen this time, and have narrowed it down to two colors.  Stay tuned!
fabric used : Riley Gray, Riley White, and 1/8" gingham in gray by Riley Blake Designs
pattern : Uptown by Allison Harris of Cluck Cluck Sew

jelly roll check quilt.

Good Morning and Happy Monday!
I had so much fun sewing the Fat Quarter Shop's Jelly Roll Check quilt!
"use it up . wear it out . make it do . or do with out" has always been my approach to quilting, so to my stash I went and pulled lots of low light prints and tossed in a few primary colors to balance it all out
Fat Quarter Shop has the Jelly Roll Check Quilt available in a kit featuring Merrily by Gingiber and includes the Jelly Roll Check Pattern and Merrily fabric for the 60.5" x 72.5" quilt top and binding. (You will need to order the Creative Grids 6.5" Quilting Square Ruler separately.)

Thank you for stopping by today! xo
