Congressman Brad Sherman seeks highly motivated, professional and dedicated interns who are passionate about government and politics. Ties to California's 32nd Congressional District are a plus but not required.
Washington D.C. Office

In Washington, D.C. legislative interns' responsibilities will vary. Duties will include answering phones, researching legislation, giving Capitol tours to constituents, attending hearings and briefings, and assisting the Member and legislative staff with various projects.

Los Angeles District Office

In the Los Angeles District office, interns may be asked to do a variety of things, including day-to-day work such as answering phones, conducting casework intakes, attending field events or in-office meetings, and event research. In addition, interns may be assigned to assist with various district-based projects of importance.
