Paint Party Friday & 29 Faces, September 2014

 

 

 

Joining up with PPF and 29 Faces September, for my final contribution for this year. On October 1, I will be closing my blog till January 1, 2015. I want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas ahead of time.

 

A lot is going on right now and blogging takes time, so it's best to just sign off  until the beginning of the year. I won't be posting but will continue to stop by your blogs at least once a week.  Time for  change. By closing my blog I mean to just shut it down till next year. No access since there won't be blogging. You will get a message that it is a private blog, but that is because during this period I will be the only one able to access my blog. Please don't be offended if you get that message, it's not private.

I may schedule a post for  November 2 for Dia de Los Muertos but they will be photos of past celebrations.

Hopefully when I return I will not have lost a lot of blogging friends. I truly shall miss my blogging friends.

It is that time again, Friday. Which means Paint Party Friday and of course linking up with Martha at 29 Faces in September. These drawings were done during the week a little at a time. The days have been busy and I've been doing pretty good staying offline. Thank you for stopping by. You know I will be at your blogs too. I received some of my blog books from Flickr,  and they came out really nice.
That's for another quick post during the week.
I'm running on fumes, almost as if I need gas and a tune up.

 I'll feel a lot better when this time of year below happens:

 

Autumn begins on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 (in 4 days) and ends on Sunday, December 21, 2014

I'm really waiting to blossom when Autumn begins. I do you know, blossom in Autumn.:))) It's like I am ready to rumble.

Borrowing a recipe for DETOX TEA

 

 

 

 

I'm headed out the door to the corner grocery store to pick up some ingredients for a morning DETOX TEA. You can actually drink throughout the day but I'm starting it tomorrow.

 

According to: Kathy YL Chan. Kathy YL Chan is a tea authority based in NYC and Honolulu. She sources tea for private clients and consults for luxury brands on menus and retail tea lines.

 

There is ginger for digestion

 

Turmeric to cleanse the liver

 

Cayenne to warm the body and amp up metabolism

 

Cinnamon to serve as an anti-inflammatory

These doodles are not meant for anything else but fun and practice.

 

Goofing around a lot with my Ipad lately and finding lots of goodies to use on it. This is my latest find and I'm loving this as much as the other app.

 

You can use a lot of layers. These doodles were just for fun. Learning how to use the new program and the layering's.

I'll take this with me tomorrow when we head out to take my mom shopping and to get her flu shot. I got my flu shot last week.

This guy below is looking a little scared because he just heard the prediction for doomsday is 2060. He is petrified wondering just how it all will end. His lips are turning white and his hair  (or somewhat hair) is starting to stand out as though he is being electrified.

 

Then again he looks old enough that he won't be here when that happens, still he worries.

So it's Tuesday and I've taken to walking indoors. Walking in place with music for at least 1/2 hour. It's some form of exercise. The weather will be in the 90's this week and hopefully it will soon cool down. Hope you are doing well, have a great week.

First I want to say that I will be down to your blogs to visit. As I have been staying off line a bit and only post on Fridays I've neglected to visit some of my favorite places but I'll be there, I promise.

 

 I thought I'd do a short intro to this event that Martha is hosting.  I'm doing my pieces  on my Ipad and then will have a book printed on the 29Faces at a later date. I did the same for February's 29 Faces. The book came out great. Of course credit goes to Martha for her 29Faces events.

 

 

 

So here we go with Martha's 29Faces. It's always a lot of fun participating and I will try to be here daily.....although sometimes I won't be here due to lots going on. tee hee. I will try my best.

 

Happy 29 Faces everyone and thanks for hosting Martha. I won't go into detail about my "stuff" it's just here for you to enjoy or not.:)) I don't know if I have the right link again Martha? Hope I do.
