I joined Business Insider in April 2015 as a deputy editor of science coverage to help the company launch Tech Insider. Prior to that, I directed Popular Science's website, was a Wired contributor, and have worked for or with Scientific American, Popular Mechanics, Discover, Space.com, National Geographic News, Discovery.com, Nature, Science, and other media outlets.
Media engagements are part of my job. I moderate panels, present talks, give podcast/radio interviews, and make guest appearances on national television. (Past credits and bookings include: The Today Show, CBS This Morning, "What on Earth?" on the Science Channel, Fox & Friends, CNN, CNBC, PBS, Pix11, AP, Reuters, Al Jazeera America, ABC Radio, BBC Radio, Marketplace Radio, and more.)
Disclosure: Dave Mosher is married to a communications employee at the American Museum of Natural History. He regularly contributes to Health News Review.
