Description
Introduction to methods of financial analysis for real estate investments. Topics include methods of valuation, cash flow forecasting, computer modeling, debt leverage, and deal structures. Emphasis is placed on the financing of individual projects. This course requires greater than average preparation time. It is heavily orientated toward numerical analysis and makes use of case studies and computer spreadsheet analysis. Technical note: Please note that lecture #1's image quality is unusually poor. It is not representative of the rest of the series. While there are 10 lectures in the class, lecture #10 is not available for public viewing.

Great introductory coure to the financial analysis of real tate projects!
Production quality is the pits
Although the subject matter is interesting to me, and the professor is knowledgeable, the poor sound and illegible screen shots of the spreadsheets and the missing info on the website makes this course an embarassment for Columbia, I would think. You could not possibly do a worse job of converting a perfectly fine course to the web.
Pls don't waste your time on it
The episodes are too bad to watch! You can't see anything, and the narrator hasn't any logic topic at all! Pls rate it as worst!
