GALT, CA (MPG) - Three years after his first term as mayor, Paul Sandhu will one again lead Galt City Council. At its Dec. 5 meeting, Council chose Sandhu and Rich Lozano to serve as mayor and vice mayor, respectively, in the coming year. The two last held the positions in 2020.

GALT, CA (MPG) - Galt City Manager Lorenzo Hines Jr. has announced his resignation. He has served as city manager since Aug. 31, 2020. In a written statement sent to city staff and media, Hines said his final day will be Feb. 2, 2024. Hines’ statement did not give a reason for his departure.
