Wow, The Jeffersons and Good Times only get a half hour a day? Lame. But then, maybe they did that because they're already anticipating where Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie (assumption) will fit in in October.

It could change in October (hence why the title of the story is TV Land Fall Part 1). I only have the schedule up to Sept. 26.

What a disappointment. Why did they even acquire The Jeffersons and Good Times instead of just renewing them? They apparently didn't do well enough when they left...

I still felt The Cosby Show would be gone. Kind of interesting seeing Roseanne on at 7pm. I guess it leads in to The Nanny well. All of that Andy Griffith is not needed. They just repeat episodes like crazy.

Looks like they have high expectations for The Nanny.

I'm guessing Roseanne at 7pm is just for a week or two. I expect more changes in October with the addition of the other sitcom and perhaps Bewitched returning.

Well that's a letdown. And Roseanne airing at 7PM is disgusting, they could have brought Home Improvement there with Roseanne already getting good slots from 11-1. The Program Exchange bit makes me think the October show is The Munsters, I don't think Jeannie is syndicated by them.

I'm glad The Jeffersons and Good Times are coming back. But it seems like a strange move. What will they really offer (in terms of ratings) that an hour of AITF and S&S between 9a - 11a would not? Good to see some representation of the 70s on the line-up.

The Cosby Show is a real surprise. I was kind of thinking it was maybe doing a little better (been at 8pm for a while).

I wonder if The Beverly Hillbillies will return before its expiration in December?

Jeannie will not be the October show. It will most likely be The Munsters since the Oct. show is by TPE.

http://www.programexchange.com/programs.asp?category=2

The Munsters is the only show on that list I could see coming back and it did the best. Some more of those aired but didn't do well.

As for The Beverly Hillbillies, I doubt it personally...who knows if we'll ever see those 60s sitcoms aired again.

That Program Exchange list could potentially be out of date? (It does say Benson ends on 5/29/10)

Of course The Munsters could not return in a more fitting month than October! Bewitched could be paired well with it (not as well as IDOJ, but they're both fantasy sitcoms).

It would be nice to see the new sitcom airing at 6 PM and Bewitched (assuming it returns) airing at 7 in October. This way they wouldn't really have to change the schedule around too much.

Yes, and it surprised me since they haven't been expired for too long. I guess they needed to acquire something (possibly was cheap since it isn't exclusive) since they were losing three series.

As for the Program Exchange hint, it may or not may not be listed on their website. That's all I can say.

Jeffersons coming back for what? I can't see it and it's not on during the weekends and not only that the cosby show is gone and that stupid a$$ show "the nanny" is all over the tv schedule for september.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Just Shoot Me air in October. The Munsters would be my other choice. JSM would be great to air with the originals in January, but it never did well before, while The Munsters did.

Anyways, why is everyone hating on this schedule? I absolutely love it. Of course, I love every show that's airing 7pm-4am. Roseanne, The Nanny, Raymond, Home Improvement - what a great lineup. It's also quite compatible. Sure, TV Land has gone in a completely new direction with primetime, but can you blame them? It obviously seems to be working. While some of you may not like Roseanne airing at 7pm, it's perfectly compatible leading into The Nanny at 8pm, and it seems to be one of their higher rated shows to do the job.

As for Good Times and The Jeffersons - it's absolutely great seeing that morning lineup back in action. They were quick acquisitions, and perfect to make up a morning block I think. They aren't really needed anywhere else on the lineup. Overall, I think this is a great lineup, with great variety, and truly spans completely different ends of the spectrum.

Remember, this show coming in October is the long discussed classic. So I doubt it's anything like Just Shoot Me. There were 2 for this year...the one in March (Bewitched) and this one later in the year.

It will be interesting to see how the morning schedule works. Good Times and The Jeffersons weren't very stable towards the end of their runs and they don't have much of a tolerance for older shows that don't do well anymore. When The Cosby Show leaves, they will have no 80s shows left.

Yes, the October one is for sure the long-awaited "second classic." Not a 90s show and not an 80s show, either. That is all I will say.

As for this September schedule, I only like the 9am-11am, 6-7pm, and 2-4am shows. The rest is blah.
