February 2023

Not quite a total finish, but I have finally finished this stitching.

I started this approximately two years ago and this month finally pulled it out of the UFO pile and finished the last elf a few days ago.

Now to iron and stitch it together, so watch this space next month.

But anyway I have finished this lovely wall hanging this month

And back in July I completed this small stitchery as part of a swap

February Finish .... Just a Bit Late Posting

Well the end of last month was hectic for me with working full-time (arrghh don't do that often) and any spare moment working on my Master of Nursing assignment (3am finishes) before I took off to Hobart, Australia, so blogging was on the back burner ..... I also misplaced my camera cord so photos were stuck on the camera.

Anyway I did finish a project for February and am just about to completed the March one so will post that one in the next few days.

This "Heart of Christmas" stitchery is a Rosalie Quinlan design I started awhile back but have now finished.  I still have two other to finish and am hoping to this year.

This one is the "Angels" pattern

A Christmas UFO Finished

A Christmas finish this month and nearly finished one already for next month too.  This month I completed a table runner out of blocks I have made for block swaps but deemed not good enough to post.  I really like how it turned out.

I even practiced some free-motion quilting on it too.

Until next month

Michell

Some Christmas Finishes Throughout The Year

Well I have been very slack this year on this page.  A lot of personal things happening, but now sorted.  After our big move to the Central North Island for the hubbys job at the end of 2014, things did not work out so he up and quit farming and we moved back to Gisborne where we had a couple of houses and now I am a townie.  I grew up on a dairy farm and then meet the hubby who was a sheep and beef farmer, so have always lived on farms (except when I first left school for 20 odd months), so a big change.

Anyway sewing was sort of a back burner, though I did do some for swaps, and I was in a few Christmas swaps during the year so I will showcase them on here now.  I am ready for 2016 and will get back into the 1 Christmas Item a Month again. I already have plans too...... organised!!

This one is Anni Downs Christmas Wishes pattern and it can be found here.
I used Cottage Garden Thread Hugs & Kisses and the material is from Lynette Anderson Designs

I do like them.
