1987 cover art by Jim Warren for “Transformation,” by Edmund Plante
Art. Sci-fi art. From the 70s.
Ron Walotsky’s 1985 cover for Larry Niven’s “Limits” is a great Space Crowd Saturday. The alien glassware is a nice touch, including the one that contains an entire gooey red alien patron.
Looks like Chesley Bonestell’s famous “Saturn as Seen from Titan” artwork is going on sale soon, from the late Microsoft co-founder Paul G. Allen’s estate. It could be yours, assuming you have a spare $50K!

Spotted this in a bookstore in Winnipeg and my wife didn’t know why I was so excited to see it
Awesome! Thanks for the pic. I’m imagining you saluted my book with a tasteful hint of tears in your eyes.
On this day in 1969, Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to walk on the Moon. Art by Robert McCall.
Does anyone know if this art was ever used as a book or game cover? It’s by James Talbot, done in 1982. The artist did a number of board game covers for Avalon Hill Games, but I can’t find this one anywhere - it may have just been a portfolio piece.
Update: It was a portfolio piece! I heard from someone who heard from someone who got in touch with Talbot, who confirmed it. Most likely never published.
