Subject:
A biased account of June 4
The account of June 4 in the Square was not witnessed by Lin Binyan, rather its an account from a dissident colleague and supposed eyewitness, who could not have been in all those places at once. Nor is it concordant with subsequently released confidential diplomatic cables, particularly those of Western Embassy staff who were insiders and knew what happened to the west of the square. It omits two of the major combatant groups to the west of the square, the militant workers demanding unionisation (a splinter communist faction) and a gang of armed CIA color revolution instigators and their minions.
