Hlow It is with heavy heart I start this fundraising. I've exhausted all available solutions to evacuate my family from Gaza. the only option I have left is to start a fundraising which can help in this crisis and .I'll explain why and how.
I’m Labeeb Humaid is a radiology specialist, ambitious and persevering. My family in Gaza consists of 16 members: including me my wife, my children Abood (4 years old) and Leila (2 years old), my father (65 years old), my mother (55years old), my sisters Aseel, Saba, and Sana, my brother Shehada and Muhammad, his wife, and their two children Labeeb (5 years old) and Juman (1 year old),and my aunts Nawal and Hanan. Over the past ten years, I have worked tirelessly, dedicating myself to my family, working hard, planning, and building my career. Despite facing the challenges , I have become a well-known professional in the field of radiology in Gaza, working in many hospitals and medical clinics. I obtained a master's degree in crisis and disaster management. Unfortunately, my life turned upside down on October 7th. Since that day, I have lost thousands of innocent lives in Gaza, and many innocent people like myself have lost their jobs and only source of income, rather than Our house was also severely damaged and our car was destroyed. Every morning I wake up and look at the ceiling of the tent that does not protect us from the heat of summer and the cold of winter. I look at the ceiling and see the UNICEF logo and I ask myself why this organization does not intervene to protect ourselves. Why must we die at a time other than ours? Don’t we have the right to live a dignified life full of vitality and positivity?
How long will this suffering continue? How long will we continue to appeal to the world in vain? No one helps us. I cannot find anyone to help me and my family. No one. We are left alone. The situation is very tragic. The situation is dangerous. We die almost every day. We hope to wake up from this nightmare soon. We are tired.
This is my brother Jamal, who is 21 years old, but the war made him a big person who carries a very big responsibility for his age. His face is full of fatigue and sadness. He was supposed to finish his studies at university this year, but he was not lucky.
I ask you to help me and my family and reach the goal of the campaign as soon as possible. I hope that you will not leave me alone and help us. We just need you. I want you to donate, even if it is 5 €, no more. If you are not able to donate, spread the campaign everywhere, send it to your friends, maybe someone will donate. I hope. Fascists have told their terrorist supporters to ‘mask-up’ and attack immigration lawyers. We will not let them succeed in their plans. Counter-protests to defend the targeted asylum support services have been called for Wednesday 7th August across the UK at 7pm. Let’s make these protests massive!
