Armenia working intensively for the return of prisoners - Armen Grigoryan

YEREVAN, JUNE 26, ARMENPRESS.The return of all Armenian prisoners from Azerbaijan is on the agenda of Armenia, as mentioned the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan during the briefing with journalists.

"We have always discussed the issue of the return of all prisoners, both with Azerbaijan and with international partners.It remains a top priority for us, and we are actively working towards this goal.On December 7, 2023, we achieved a certain success in this regard - 32 prisoners returned, but we are not satisfied with this and we continue to work towards the return of all captives," Grigoryan said.

To the question of whether it is not the main precondition for peace,Grigoryan answered that it is not correct to associate this issue with the peace treaty because the prisoners must return to Armenia as soon as possible.
