Parliamentarians observe fortification works in delimited areas of Tavush

YEREVAN, JULY 6, ARMENPRESS. The members of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security Affairs of the National Assembly of Armenia observed the fortification works in the delimited areas of Tavush, the press service of the National Assembly said in a statement.

The Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Andranik Kocharyan, regularly visits areas of strategic importance for the security of Armenia with his parliamentary colleagues.

On Friday, the parliamentary delegation led by Andranik Kocharyan visited the Voskepar-Kirants section of the Tavush region, where fortification works are underway following the delimitation of the border with Azerbaijan.

 "With the already delimited section of Voskepar-Kirants, it is clearly established that the process of delimitation between Armenia and Azerbaijan has started, and the undeniable Armenian territories begin from here," the statement issued by the Parliament reads.
