Artist in charcoal, oil and mixed media, born and lived in London. She studied at Camden Institute, Sir John Cass College, and Hertfordshire College of Art & Design, 1970–80. As well as Rembrandt, Goya and EI Greco, Winner cited the pre-war German Expressionists, David Bomberg and Frank Auerbach as influences. Took part in group shows at Boundary, Square and Mall Galleries and Camden Arts Centre; shared a show with Helen Keats at Ben Uri Art Society, which holds her work, 1987; and had two solo exhibitions: at Crest Gallery, Totteridge, 1986, and Birmingham University, 1992.
