About us

Workforce Australia - Local Jobs - Mid North SA (previously called The Local Jobs Program Mid North SA) connecting people with jobs and skills, and employers with workers in Mid North including Port Pirie, Clare, Southern Flinders, Yorke Peninsula, Barossa Valley and Adelaide Plains. A Local Jobs and Skills Taskforce will be established in each of the regions to identify key employment priorities and strengthen linkages between stakeholders. The Taskforce will play a central role leveraging existing programs and aligning efforts on the ground to ensure collaboration is maximised, duplication is minimised, and outcomes are achieved. A Local Recovery Fund of $250,000 will be available in the Mid North SA region to support projects that assist job seekers into employment. The Employment Facilitator can provide more information on the Local Jobs Program, and also help organisations and employers better understand and connect with Government programs, services and funding for employment.
