Today, we hosted a Scottish Clean Energy roundtable event at our Edinburgh office on behalf of the Australian High Commission in the UK, welcoming over 20 sector leaders and government officials including Stephen Smith, Australian High Commissioner, and Ian Murray, Secretary of State for Scotland. In addition to advancing the energy transition, the roundtable discussion focused on the opportunities for Scotland-Australia Investment and how the UK Government’s growth agenda will support the deployment of nascent climate technologies and the accelerated scaling up of renewables. We were pleased to be joined by our Scottish portfolio companies (Corio Generation, Storegga, National Gas and AGS Airports) who are helping contribute to the transition across the country from offshore wind to carbon capture storage and hydrogen.
