About us
RESA is a business advisory agency, consulting on the development of skills and workforce of the South Australian Resources Sector and its supply chain. An industry run not-for-profit, we work with business and government to identify gaps in the skilled workforce and find ways to fill them by facilitating programs that provide skills and training opportunities for workers in the sector. RESA undertakes research and brokers operational solutions, including funding support for workforce and skills development; as well as coordinating the delivery of projects to increase the availability of skilled people in the sector.

RESA's Copper Coast Career Roadshow Preferred Student Pathways survey results are in... 283 secondary students participated in our Preferred Student Pathways survey during last weeks Copper Coast Careers Roadshow in Kadina, Port Pirie and Port Augusta. Apprenticeship and University pathways were clear front runners! 22% of students indicated they would like to stay local (not relocate) and 24% indicated they did not feel they were ready or had the necessary support to relocate to pursue their preferred pathway! The importance of regional access to employment and training pathways is highlighted with almost a quarter of students desiring opportunities close to home!
