Adam M. Shapiro was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 21 of the New York State Assembly.

Elections for the New York State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was July 10, 2014. Adam Shapiro was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Brian Curran was unopposed in the Republican primary. Curran also ran on the Conservative Party, Tax Revolt Party (TRP) and Independence Party of New York State tickets. Curran defeated Shapiro in the general election.[1][2][3]
