Biography
Amy Coborn is a resident of North St. Paul, Minnesota. Coborn earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota and her M.Ed. degree from the University of St. Thomas. She worked as a paraprofessional in the Centennial School District and as a classroom teacher with Mounds View Public Schools before she retired to raise her children.[2]

The election in North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale featured three at-large seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbents Amy Coborn and Michelle Yener ran against challengers Caleb Anderson, Bennie Bennett and Danny Porter for the seats. Fellow board member Mark Wheeler did not file for re-election.

Funding
North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District 622 does not publish campaign finance reports for school board candidates. State law does not require campaign finance reporting if contributions or expenditures do not exceed $750 in a calendar year.[3]
