Bob Bryant
Bob Bryant (b. August 11, 1944 - d. February 25, 2016) was a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 162 from 2004 to his death on February 25, 2016. He died from an apparent illness.[1]
Bryant served on the Garden City Council from 1995 to 2004.
Biography
Bryant's professional experience includes working as a facility maintenance supervisor for the City of Savannah, sanitation superintendent for Savannah, and operations manager/general manager of WEAS FM Radio Station. He served as a sergeant first class in the United States Army from 1962 to 1982.[2]

"Bob" Bryant was unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[3][4][5]

Bryant ran in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 162. Bryant ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on July 31, 2012. He was unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[6][7]

2010
Bryant ran for re-election to the 160th District seat in 2010. He did not have any opposition in the July 20 primary. Bryant defeated Joseph Woods (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[8]

In 2008 Bryant was re-elected to the Georgia House of Representatives District 160. Bryant (D) ran unopposed and finished with 12,109 votes.[9] Bryant raised $11,601 for his campaign fund.[10]

Bryant is the past President of the Garden City Community Association, past Chairman of the Crime Prevention - Chamber of Commerce, and is current President of the Garden City - Georgia City Community Association, and Savannah Area Broadcaster's Association.[2]
