Butch Taylor was a Democratic member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 22 from March 2007 to 2010.

2010
Taylor lost his re-election bid in 2010. He defeated Robert Layne in the June 1 primary and was then defeated by Republican Wayne Johnson in the November 2 general election.[1][2]

On March 6, 2007, Taylor was elected to the 22nd District Seat in the Alabama House of Representatives, defeating opponent Wayne Johnson (R).[3]
