Caleb Layton
Caleb Rodney Layton III (1907-1988) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
Layton was nominated by President Dwight Eisenhower on March 25, 1957, to a seat vacated by Richard Rodney; he was confirmed by the Senate on April 16, 1957, and received his commission on April 17th. He assumed senior status on April 26, 1968, and served in that capacity until his death on May 6, 1988.[1] Layton was succeeded in this position by James Latchum.
