Chris Hyepock was a Democratic candidate for Governor of Nevada in the 2014 elections. At the time of his candidacy, Hyepock was an assistant manager at the Rampart Casino at the JW Marriott Resort.[1]

Hyepock ran for election to the office of Governor of Nevada. Hyepock made the following statement after formally announcing his campaign on November 7, 2013.

"I am running for 2014 Nevada governor with the Democratic Party because I want to create a better future for all Nevadans. As a 14-year Nevada resident and a working-class individual, I understand the challenges fellow Nevadans are facing and am determined to be part of the solution. I will implement a plan to accomplish our goals and I am committed to working around the clock to achieve the results we need." [2]

Hyepock lost the Democratic nomination in the primary on June 10, 2014.[1] The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
