Christopher Friend (Republican Party) (also known as Chris) is a member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 124. He assumed office in 2013. His current term ends on January 1, 2025.

Friend (Republican Party, Conservative Party) is running for re-election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 124. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024. The Republican and Conservative Party primaries for this office on June 25, 2024, were canceled.

Biography

Friend earned his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of New Hampshire and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from State University of New York at Buffalo.[1] Friend has been involved with local government for the Town of Big Flats and elected to the Chemung County Legislature.
