Clement Bissonnette
Clement Bissonnette (Democratic Party) (also known as Clem) was a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Chittenden-6-7 District. He assumed office in 2009. He left office in 2018.
Bissonnette (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Vermont House of Representatives to represent Essex-Caledonia District. He lost in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Biography
Bissonnette earned his A.A. in business management from Champlain College in 1965.
At the time of his resignation in 2018, Bissonnette was an employee of International Business Machines.
Bissonnette served as mayor of the City of Winooski from 1999 to 2007.[1]

2014
Elections for the Vermont House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 26, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 12, 2014. Chittenden-6-7 has two state representatives. Incumbent Clement Bissonnette and Diana Gonzalez defeated Kenneth Atkins in the Democratic primary. Robert Millar ran as a Vermont Progressive Party candidate. Gonzalez was also nominated as a Vermont Progressive candidate.[6][7][8][9] Gonzalez and Bissonnette were victorious in the Democratic primary, securing seats in the general election. In addition to appearing on the general election ballot as a Democratic nominee, she will also appear as the Vermont Progress Party's candidate. Bissonnette and Gonzalez defeated Millar in the general election.[10]

Bissonnette won re-election in the 2012 election for Vermont House of Representatives Chittenden 6-7. Bissonnette was unopposed in the August 28 Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[11]
2010
Bissonnette ran for re-election to the Chittenden 3-6 District in 2010. He and Kenneth Atkins (D) both won re-election in the general election on November 2, 2010.[11]
