Craig H. DeArmond is a judge on the Fourth District Appellate Court in Illinois. He was selected for the position by the Illinois Supreme Court in 2017.[1]
He was formerly the resident judge of the Fifth Circuit in Illinois. He served in Danville. He was retained in 2012 for a term that would have expired in 2018.[2]
Education
DeArmond earned his B.A. from the University of Iowa, going on to receive his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School. He was admitted to the bar in 1975.[3]
Career
Prior to joining the bench, DeArmond worked as an attorney with the Danville law firm Kurth & DeArmond.[4]
2012 election
DeArmond was retained on Nov. 6, 2012 with 80.9 percent of the vote.[5][6]
