Dan McCay (Republican Party) is a member of the Utah State Senate, representing District 18. He assumed office on January 1, 2023. His current term ends on January 1, 2027.

McCay (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Utah State Senate to represent District 18. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

McCay is a former Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives. He represented House District 41 from 2013 to 2019 and House District 52 from 2012 to 2013.


Biography

Dan McCay earned both his bachelor's in secondary education and his master's in instructional design from Utah State University. He also earned a J.D. from Willamette University. His career experience includes working as an attorney and a real estate portfolio manager.[1]

The Sutherland Institute, "a conservative public policy think tank" in Utah, releases its Scorecard for Utah State Representatives and Senators once a year.
