Special election
A special election for the position of Missouri House of Representatives District 97 was held on February 6, 2018. The filing deadline for candidates to run in this election was December 5, 2017.[1]
The seat became vacant on September 18, 2017, after John McCaherty (R) resigned to focus on running for county executive.[2]
Mike Revis (D) defeated David Linton (R) in the special election.[1][3]
