David Strawbridge (b. 1945) is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He was appointed to the court on April 26, 2005.[1][2]
Education
Judge Strawbridge received his undergraduate degree from Brown University in 1967 and his law degree from the Villanova University School of Law in 1971.[1]
Career
Judge Strawbridge began his career in 1971 as an Assistant District Attorney. In 1976, he became an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He joined the law firm of Cozen O’Connor in 1978. He moved to London in 1998 to open Cozen O’Connor's first international office. In 2002, he returned to the firm's Philadelphia office, where he worked until his 2005 judicial appointment.[1]
