2014
Glick's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[18]
Supporting Small Businesses
- Excerpt: "I have long sought ways to support local businesses. After the close of St. Vincent's Hospital, I organized “A Valentine for the Village,” to encourage shoppers to support local businesses hurt by the closure of St. Vincent's. That is why I was also supportive of Borough President Gale Brewer's efforts as a councilmember to put limits on the size of storefronts, to encourage landlords to seek out smaller commercial tenants."
Parkland and the Waterfront
- Excerpt: "The Lower Manhattan community has a rich history of standing firm and fighting to protect its scarce green space. I will continue to be a leader in the fight to protect public park space so that it is free, well-maintained and able to be enjoyed by all."
Improving Women's Lives
- Excerpt: "The Women’s Equality Agenda (WEA) is a 10-point bill that would help better the lives of women in many ways. The passage of this complete bill is an essential starting place to better the lives of New York women and their families."
LGBT
- Excerpt: "As the first openly LGBT representative in New York State, I have long fought for equality for the LGBT community. Although, after a long and hard struggle we emerged victorious on the issue of marriage equality, there are still many pressing issues that impact the LGBT community which I continue to address."
Animal Abuser Statewide Registry
- Excerpt: "This bill would establish a registry of people who have been convicted of a felony violation of animal abuse or of the comparable statutes in another state. This is much needed legislation to combat animal cruelty and abuse and to stop repeat offenders. The registered abuser would be prohibited from purchasing animals from stores and adopting from animal shelters."

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
