Don DeWitte (Republican Party) is a member of the Illinois State Senate, representing District 33. He assumed office on September 3, 2018. His current term ends on January 13, 2027.

DeWitte (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Illinois State Senate to represent District 33. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Biography

Donald DeWitte was part of the University of Illinois School of Government Edgar Fellow Class of 2019. He served as a St. Charles alderman from 1993-2005 and as the St. Charles mayor from 2005-2013. DeWitte has previously served on the regional transportation authority board, representing Kane County. He was first elected to the Illinois General Assembly in 2018 to represent the 33rd District.[1]
