Eduardo Garcia (Democratic Party) is a member of the California State Assembly, representing District 36. He assumed office on December 5, 2022. His current term ends on December 2, 2024.
Garcia (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the California State Assembly to represent District 36. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Garcia served as mayor of Coachella, California, from 2006 to 2014 and on the Coachella City Council from 2004 to 2006.[1]
Biography
Eduardo Garcia attended the University of California, Riverside. He also completed the Senior Executives in State and Local Government Public Administration program from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and earned a master's degree from the University of Southern California School of Policy, Planning and Development.[2]
Garcia was first elected to the Coachella City Council in November 2004. In 2006, at the age of 29, he became Coachella's first elected mayor.[2]
