George Neves Leighton (1912-2018) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Leighton was nominated by President Gerald Ford on December 19, 1975, to a seat vacated by Abraham Marovitz; he was confirmed by the Senate on February 2, 1976, and received commission on February 4, 1976. He served the Northern District of Illinois until his retirement on December 1, 1987.[1] Leighton died on June 6th, 2018.
