John Robinson, Alabama Representative
John Robinson (b. March 22, 1950) is a former Democratic member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 23 from 1994 to 2014.
Biography
Robinson works as a trial coordinator in the Jackson County District Attorney's Office, and runs a beef cattle operation.
He is a member of the Dutton Civitan Club, Jackson County Cattleman's Association, Saint Luke's Episcopal Church, and serves on the board of the Colombian American Service Association.[1]

Elections for the Alabama House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014; a runoff election took place where necessary on July 15, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Incumbent John Robinson defeated Jim Green in the Democratic primary. James Hanes, Jr. was unopposed in the Republican primary. Hanes defeated Robinson in the general election.[2][3][4][5][6]

Robinson won re-election to the 23rd District Seat in 2010. He had no opposition.[7]
2006
On November 7, 2006, Robinson was re-elected to the 23rd District Seat in the Alabama House of Representatives, running unopposed in the general election.[8]
Robinson raised $54,000 for his campaign.[9]
