Mayo’s campaign website stated the following:

Criminals Don’t Follow Laws The route 91 shooter didn’t care about the “no guns allowed” signs as he marched 24 of them right through the door of the Mandalay Bay. The Uvalde shooter didn’t care about Texas Penal code 46.03 that prohibits weapons in schools. None of these people cared that murder is illegal; Bravery is pertinent in dire situations. As we saw in Udalve, Las Vegas, and Israel, time is of the essence and police can take over an hour to enter a building. When you are on the inside of these situations you’re praying for help, that someone is able to stop the gunmen… with a gun. I, personally, would rather be in control of my own defense than wait for someone to care enough to take a stand for me. Ted Bundy. Charles Manson. Unabomber. Boston Marathon. September 11th, 2001. These attacks and more were all carried out without an ArmaLite Rifle. We have a sickness in this world and it doesn’t take a gun to commit acts of horror. As Americans we have the absolute and complete right to protect ourselves from all threats, both foreign and domestic. If October 7th taught us anything it’s that the right to bear arms… Shall not be infringed. The Lies We Feel in Our Pockets From the absolutely asinine reaction to COVID-19 to proxy wars. It shows the pure disconnect that the Democratic Party has to the average citizen. While the rest of us struggle to put food on the table Democrats are focused on “clean energy”. As if we have extra cash lying around to get a buy a new Tesla. They claim Republicans have no plan to combat inflation but from 2019- today we have been blue in the face screaming to stop these nonsensical policies. When Biden was shutting down “nonessential” businesses, Republicans were asking how Americans were going to put food on their table. They fought tooth and nail. What eventually happened? Production shut downs of all kinds. Which led to low supply. Low supply + average demand = higher prices. Now that companies have figured out people will pay higher prices, those prices wont come back down without a dramatic decrease in demand. How will we get a dramatic decrease in demand for food? We wont. The Federal Reserve’s interest rate hike temporarily decreased the demand for housing but prices didn’t fall as intended. As we see the interest rates decrease we’re going to see another spike in housing cost. I wont directly blame the administration for this but its a ramification of the inflation started by the covid restrictions. Republicans called this and begged this administration not to do every single thing it did that we knew would ruin the economy. Now Biden says we don’t have any plans? To fix what he broke. As a solution Democrats are calling for higher wages and stricter taxes on businesses. I agree that American’s need pay increases. We have seen the free market taking care of this without an official increase in federal minimum wage. However when inflation is out of control companies cant keep up with it until it slows. Therefor there is a lull until employers can implement these raises. For example: let’s say over a year’s span inflation goes up 7%. You’re pay is not keeping up with inflation until the following January when raises typically come. So from January to January your monthly salary buys less and less. Which can largely explain why the average American has $7,951 in credit card debt. Tax breaks during this time makes far more sense than requiring private companies to increase pay which is just going to lead to… higher prices. Continuing this cycle is chaos. “But if businesses don’t pay more in taxes how will we get out of debt?” This leads me to government spending… We have got to stop the proxy wars. As much as I stand against foreign aggression and imperialism- we don’t have any money to give. You can not pour from an empty cup. The US needs to get our own house in order first. To do this we need to:
I won’t claim I have all of the answers to a perfect economy but we have to start somewhere. To Ourselves and Our Posterity The way I look at this there are two scenarios
Or
in order to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity we need to secure the border. This does not mean an all out shut down to immigration. It simply means to stop this mass invasion of people who would like nothing more than to see America fall. We need to be processing people; finding out who they are and what they want. We need to be ensuring safety for the American people and reality is we can not do that while our enemies are preying on our goodwill. Bring Them Home. If what happened at the Nova Festival had happened anywhere else in the world the music industry would have been disgusted and angry. The world would have rallied together to destroy a terrorist organization that went into a civilian party and murdered over 200 people then raped, kidnapped, and tortured many more. But we didn’t see that. Why? The world has, again, dehumanized Jews. This isn’t a nueanced issue at all when it comes to the lives of civilians during a TIME OF PEACE. In fact, there was an active ceasefire in place when Hamas committed these atrocities. So if Hamas really just wants peace for Gazans why take hostages? Why break a ceasefire? Because they wanted the IDF to conduct a ground invasion to get back the hostages. They wanted to pick off IDF soldiers in small groups while on their home turf. They wanted a war because they want all of Israel. They’re very straight forward with what they want. “From the river to the sea” is a call for all of modern day Israel to be exterminated. Let’s imagine Hamas got what they want. What does that look like? Hamas is an Islamic militant group. Within their charter they state they want sharia law. Sharia law is Islamic fundamentalism, and while people have the right to worship in any way they want, issues arise when you try to force your religion on others. Sharia law would mean strict rules on what women wear, who they marry, what their husband can command of them, what age they can marry, and so on. It would also mean zero tolerance of LGBTQ+ people and any other religious practices. Meaning to them- “freedom” looks a whole lot like fascism. Time and again Israel has offered a two-state solution, a one-state solution, and ceasefire after ceasefire. Every time the Palestinian Authority has said no. They will only be happy with one Islamic state. This isn’t “freedom” for Palestinians. You can not have freedom where oppression lives. So where would Palestinians who don’t fit the fundamental Islamic mold go? Where would Israelis go? I think you know that answer. Conform or die. I hate war. I want world peace more than anything, but how can our babies live in peace while terrorists threaten them based on their ethnicity alone? Hamas has not once stuttered- the west is next. This is imperialism. This is racism. They are nothing short of a supremacy group. Israel has tried the ceasefire route for the better part of a century. It’s not working. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. There is no room for freedom in terrorism and there is no room for terrorism in this world. I want all of the babies, everywhere, to continue living. I want Palestinians and Israelis both have the right to freedom and self determination on their native land. For a ceasefire, we have to call for the release of hostages. Call for the rockets to stop being launched indiscriminately at Israeli civilians. Call for terrorism to stop. Call for Hamas to surrender. We must demand for the return of innocent civilians as hard as we demand for a ceasefire.[1] |
