Joseph Giglio (Republican Party) is a member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 148. He assumed office in 2013. His current term ends on January 1, 2025.
Giglio (Republican Party, Conservative Party) ran for re-election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 148. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
He was first elected to the chamber in a special election in 2004, representing District 149 in the Assembly from June 2005 to 2013.
On February 16, 2024, Giglio announced he would not seek re-election to the New York State Assembly District 148.[1]
Biography
Giglio earned a B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. His professional experience includes being a special assistant to Attorney General Dennis Vacco in the Cattaraugus County Sheriff Department, serving as New York State Deputy Inspector General for the Erie County Sheriff Department, working as a small business owner and as a deputy inspector general for the State of New York.[2]
