Campaign website
Warner-Stanton's campaign website stated the following:
“ |
EDUCATION We need to be investing in the future of our children, and the best way to do that is through education. Whether it’s implementing more pre-K programs, expanding trade school and career-development opportunities, or regulating student loan costs, I will fight to make education more accessible for every child in District 5. A graphic with bar graphs, pie charts, and line graphs indicating economic growth.
There has been an incredible amount of economic growth across much of North Alabama, but some areas of the 5th District are being left behind. We need to not only be investing in our more rural areas and communities but also planning for the future by ensuring that the infrastructure is in place to properly support the massive growth we have experienced (and will continue to experience) in our more densely-populated cities. Two medical professional women writing on a chart.
There should never be a time when a person is faced with these choices: have a much-needed medical procedure or pay their mortgage; buy life-saving medication or feed their family. And yet many North Alabamians have been forced to make these impossible decisions time and time again. In Congress, I will advocate for legislation and policies that support affordable, quality healthcare, ensuring no family will ever have to choose between necessary medical care and paying bills.[2] |
