Kent Eken (Democratic Party) was a member of the Minnesota State Senate, representing District 4. He assumed office on January 8, 2013. He left office on January 3, 2023.

Eken (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Minnesota State Senate to represent District 4. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.

Eken served in the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 2A from 2003 to 2013.

Biography

Eken earned his B.A. in political science/education from Concordia College-Moorhead and M.A. in history from Saint Cloud State University. His professional experience includes working as a teacher.[1]

Eken won election for the District 4 Senate seat in 2012. He ran unopposed in the August 14 Democratic primary and defeated Phil Hansen (R) in the November 6 general election.[6]
