Campaign themes

2014

Neeper's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[2]

Jobs

  • Excerpt: "CSI has already examined many of the more than 10,000 business regulations in Ohio and reduced the number by 25%. I look forward to joining the fight and further reducing the regulatory burden on Ohio employers."

Education

  • Excerpt: "Better yet, leave those standards to LOCAL school boards, not bureaucrats in Columbus or Washington DC – because local communities know what is best for their children. We need the best minds in Ohio to come together and fix a broken system so that all children, regardless of race, socioeconomic status, or geography, get a world-class education."

Government Spending

  • Excerpt: "I don’t care whether I’m one of nine on Lima City Council or one of ninety nine in the Statehouse, I will take on Democrats, Republicans, unions, lobbyists, bureaucrats and whomever else I need to protect your tax dollars!"
