Mark Anthony Hanni was a 2014 write-in candidate for the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas in Mahoning County, Ohio. Hanni originally filed to run for the Ohio Seventh District Court of Appeals, but he withdrew from that race in February 2014 to run as a write-in candidate for the Court of Common Pleas.[1] Hanni then withdrew from the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas race in July 2014.[2][1][3]

Elections

2012

Hanni was defeated in his bid for election to the Seventh District Court of Appeals. He was defeated by Mary DeGenaro in the general election on November 6, receiving 47.79% of the vote.[4][5]

Education

Hanni received his undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University and his J.D. degree from the Duquesne University Law School.[6][7]

Career

Hanni supervises a law office and has a legal practice that specializes in criminal, civil, medical malpractice, personal injury, and civil rights law. He also served as the Democrat deputy director of the Mahoning County Board of Elections from 1985 to 1996.[7]
