Odell Horton (1929-2006) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.

Horton was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on February 27, 1980, to a seat vacated by Bailey Brown; he was confirmed by the Senate on May 9, 1980, and received commission three days later. he served as chief judge from 1987-1994. He assumed senior status on May 16, 1995, and served in that capacity until his death on February 22, 2006.[1] Horton was succeeded in this position by Bernice Donald.
