Rita Sanders
Rita Sanders (Republican Party) is a member of the Nebraska State Senate, representing District 45. She assumed office on January 6, 2021. Her current term ends on January 8, 2025.
Sanders is running for re-election to the Nebraska State Senate to represent District 45. She is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024. She advanced from the primary on May 14, 2024.
Biography
Rita Sanders was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She graduated from Livermore High School in 1976. Her career experience includes working as a commercial real estate developer. Sanders was elected Mayor of Bellevue, Nebraska in 2010 and re-elected in 2014. Sanders has been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Bellevue, Bellevue Garden Club, and Offutt Advisory Council.[1][2]
