Robert Martwick (Democratic Party) is a member of the Illinois State Senate, representing District 10. He assumed office on June 28, 2019. His current term ends on January 8, 2025.
Martwick (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the Illinois State Senate to represent District 10. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024. He advanced from the Democratic primary on March 19, 2024.
Biography
Martwick earned his B.A. in economics from Boston College in 1988 and his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in 1996. His professional experience includes working as a litigation assistant for the Cook County States Attorney and a trustee for Norwood Park Township. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Township Officials of Illinois.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Incumbent Robert F. Martwick, Jr. ran unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election. David Sarama (R) was removed from the ballot on January 7, 2014.[7][8][9]

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
