I an the first ever female or minority to be elected as Constable for Precinct 7 in Tarrant County. I am the only female Constable representing Tarrant County. I was not licensed when I was elected so I had to graduate from a law enforcement academy within 270 days after being sworn in to remain in office. I completed that academy two months early and became a licensed law enforcement officer. Before being elected, I worked in education for over 25 years. My last 12 years as a Truancy Office for Mansfield ISD help prepare me for my current position. In 2017, I became the first minority ever elected to City Council in Kennedale Texas. The first 12 months of being in office other members of the council tried to have me removed for violating our city charter. I prevailed against that charge and the re-call election the citizens initiated against me. In 2018 I became Mayor Pro Tem and remained there until 2020 when I was elected as Constable. My office is dedicated to giving back to the citizens we represent while protecting and serving. My office has a principle of compassion mindset. I have to give credit to my husband of 42 years Kevin Lee. I could not do any of this without his support. We share three kids and two grandchildren. Most of all I realize that God has me doing what I'm doing. God guides me to be the person and Constable I am today.l

  • People Over Political is our mindset. Even though this is a political officer politics never plays a role in any decisions I make. I represent all citizens living in Precinct 7 and my goal is to keep them safe.
  • I am here to help. I'm extending our hours of service to be able to serve the citizens better. My goal is to Show Up, Step Up and Stand Out. I pride myself in doing the best job possible while continuing to make sure the tax dollars allocated to my office is spent wisely.
  • As John Lewis said "The vote is the most important nonviolent tool we have in a democratic society. " We need to understand that our vote is the most powerful weapon we have.

Health care is a priority. We have to get people to understand that abortion is healthcare. Women are going through unnecessary medicals procedures because of decisions being made by men. We also need to get physicians to take the concerns of minority patients seriously. Racial discrimination occurs on many levels, minority patients cannot afford health care to be one of them.
Food insecurity affecting our children and senior citizens. Skipping meals or going the whole day without eating will have significant consequences. I deliver with for Meals on Wheels and some of those meals are the only food some clients get for that specific day. I'm working with a teacher to have a food pantry placed at a high school within Precinct 7.

I do not have a political philosophy, I have a life philosophy which tells me to be understanding, helpful and be the good example.

Honesty and Integrity and being in office for the people. I believe many elected officials want the title and salary. when that's the case many citizens are neglected. Being an elected officials is an opportunity of a live time. we should use that opportunity to be the example that shows compassion and concern.

The core responsibility should be to do the job the voters elected you to do. To make sure you are serving the citizens with integrity and compassion.

This House Ain't Big Enough by Joey Green
Living with domestic violence through the eyes of the child. I was asked to be in the video as one of the arresting officers.

I have never ask for an endorsement. The 78,000 plus votes I received in 2020 could be considered endorsements.

I believe in showing where every dollars is being spent. I pride myself on saving tax dollars every chance I get. As the elected official I will stay and do the work myself. I'm not paid overtime or any other compensation besides my elected salary.

My name is Sandra Lee and I have worked in public education for over 23 years. I am currently a Truancy Officer with Mansfield ISD Police Department. I was also elected to Kennedale's City Council in 2017. In 2018, I was appointed to be Mayor ProTem and still hold that position. I decided to run for Constable because I believe our elected officials should be out there showing leadership in our communities. Experience means nothing, if you're not using it to improve your district. As a teen I was arrested and those few hours in jail changed my perspective. I do not see our troubled youth for who they presently are. I see them for what they can become, Productive Citizens. I believe in putting People Over Politics.

  • Outreach- I will use this elected position to bridge the gap between law enforcement and our communities of color.
  • Transparency- I want the tax payers to know where and how their tax dollars are being spent. I will earn my tax payer salary.
  • Performance- My goal is to have a great working relationship with our County Commissioner, District Attorney and JP Court. Working together we can become a more cohesive community.

I'm passionate about our justice system. We end to put an end to our school to prison pipeline. We should not see our children as something that can be thrown away. I've worked in school behavior programs.
I've seen these students become productive students and citizens when given a chance. My goal is to start a Constable Academy for our economically disadvantaged youth. It will show the families that we are taking an interest in their children, in their communities. It will give the students the opportunity to learn about law enforcement and possibly consider a career in law enforcement. If each county in Texas would send one less person to prison a year, it would save the tax payers 5.5 million dollars a year...

I look up to my dad Dussie Poole Sr. As a child I watched him running into a burning house and save a child's life. I know then that we were here to give back and to help others. I've tried to live by his example every since.

Elected officials should be committed, honest and have integrity.

Honest, Compassion and Integrity. You have to be able to trust those who are representing you. I pride myself on being a great community servant.

I worked for the community as a whole and I made a difference.

Public speaking is a struggle. I'm trying to complete a sentence but my thought process has already move to the next sentence so my words get mixed up. Still to this day I can not pronounce certain words like fruit!

Constable Office is responsible for serving civil papers such as subpoenas and temporary restraining orders. When these papers are not served in on time, lives could be in danger.

I do not believe its beneficial. Our current Constable has over 20 years of experience and the citizens of Precinct 7 is not benefitting at all from his experience.

People skills are a necessity. You have to be able and want to communicate with the citizens.
