Wayne Fontana (Democratic Party) is a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing District 42. He assumed office on June 14, 2005. His current term ends on November 30, 2026.
Fontana (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Pennsylvania State Senate to represent District 42. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Before he became a state senator, Fontana served on the Allegheny County Council from 2000 to 2005 as well as serving as a Ward Committee-person for the Allegheny Democratic Party from 1994 to 2006.
Biography
Fontana earned a A.A. from the Community College of Allegheny County in 1971. His professional experience includes working as a real estate broker.

Elections for the Pennsylvania State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in that election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent Wayne Fontana was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Fontana was unchallenged in the general election.[1][2]

Fontana won re-election to District 42 of the Pennsylvania State Senate. He was unopposed in the May 18 Democratic primary and faced no opposition in the November 2 general election.[3]
