Wayne Laroche (Republican Party) is a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Franklin-5 District. He assumed office on February 15, 2022. His current term ends on January 8, 2025.

Laroche (Republican Party, Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the Vermont House of Representatives to represent Franklin-5 District. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024. He advanced from the Republican primary on August 13, 2024. He advanced as a write-in from the Democratic primary on August 13, 2024.

Gov. Phil Scott (R) appointed Laroche to the state House to replace Paul Martin (R).[1]

Biography

Wayne Laroche lives in Franklin, Vermont. Laroche graduated from Bellows Free Academy in 1968. He earned a B.S. in wildlife management from the University of Maine in 1972 and an M.S. in natural resource management from Humboldt State University in 1986. Laroche's career experience includes working as the director of the Bureau of Wildlife Management at the Pennsylvania Game Commission, the commissioner of the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife under former Governor Jim Douglas, and a staff scientist with Lake Champlain International, Inc.[2]
