William Beatty
William Louis Beatty was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.[1] Beatty joined the court on October 5, 1979, after being nominated by President Jimmy Carter. The seat Beatty took was a new seat created by 93 Stat. 6. His service ended on July 22, 2001 due to his death.[1] Beatty was succeeded in this position by David R. Herndon.
