#NEWS: Today, Aerospacelab broke ground on Europe's largest satellite manufacturing facility in a giant leap forward for the space industry. Thank you to State Secretary Thomas Dermine, Wallonia’s Vice President Willy Borsus, The European Space Agency’s Head of Ventures and Financing Office Gianluigi Baldesi, Julien Dugauquier and Olivier Bouchat for joining us with Sambrinvest to celebrate our progress. The Megafactory marks a true turning point in #satellite production, capable of producing 500 satellites a year. With 7,000 square meters of production area and 4,000 square meters of clean room, it will be the third largest satellite factory in the world. Scheduled to open operations in 2026, this will advance the readiness of critical satellite missions for customers around the globe.
