Welcome to the EPIM Forum, Nina Bressler! "At the heart of my work is a purpose to help people, communities and organizations transform towards health, resilience and wellbeing. I believe continuous learning and leadership are founded on individual autonomy and that curiosity unleashes people, teams, organizations, and their potential. I wish to bring this mindset into supporting ecosystems and communities to live a future where all people can thrive." #EPIMForum #Migration #Communities

We're glad to have Letícia Ishibashi with us on the EPIM Forum! "I see my role as an investor in individuals and organisations, working to normalise the concept of migration as a natural part of human life, and finding solutions to ensure migrants and racialised communities are able to live fulfilling lives no matter where they are from or where they choose to live. I'm interested in helping build connection and solidarity across geographies and social justice issues, so we can expand our movement for justice for everyone." #EPIMForum #Migration #RacialJustice #Solidarity

EPIM Forum member Andrew Connelly's new podcast FORTRESS EUROPE is now out. 🎙️The new seven-part documentary podcast Fortress Europe shows how years of increasingly brutal and dehumanising anti-migrant policies have fanned the flames of extremism but still failed to prevent record-high asylum applications. Andrew, one of Europe's finest journalists, travels across the continent hearing from people making treacherous journeys, those trying to stop them, and those standing up for their rights. Episodes 1 and 2 are now available. Link in comments! #HumanRights #Migration #Refugees #Podcast #Policy

Welcome to the EPIM Forum, Hugo Seabra! "I see my current role as that of a connector. I pay great attention to the ecosystem and, whenever possible, I attend, connect and explore new paths crossing philanthropy, civil society actors, academia and the public sphere. I'm a people "guy", I love to recall legacy and memories but always extract learnings and constructive recommendations towards future steps. I'm also a "bridge maker", trying always to connect dots and people." #EPIMForum #Migration #CivilSociety #Philanthropy

🔄EPIM's Deskilling Pilot Last year, EPIM launched a unique bottom-up sensemaking and participatory grantmaking pilot aimed at addressing the deskilling of migrants entering Europe. Together with a Council of Practitioners - AMER ALQADI, Ana Paula Costa, Eunice Romero Rivera, Halima Salat Barre, James Peter and Maria Vincenza Desiderio, we mapped out challenges and identified leverage points to create real change. 🤔Curious about the organisations driving these efforts? Co-Director Sophie Ngo-Diep (she/her) profiles new partners and the process. https://lnkd.in/de-mjeKz jobs4refugees #Deskilling #InclusiveSocieties #Refugees #Migration #ParticipatoryGrantmaking

We are excited to have Eunice Romero join us on the EPIM Forum! "I have spent over 20 years working in the field of migration, from the everyday level to the narratives around it, using means such as community organization, scholarly research, public policy formulation, and political leadership. I aim to contribute to the expansion of political imagination about how we can live and imagine ourselves together by continuously remaking our collective self." #EPIMForum #Migration #Antiracism
