“Forges of Corruption” DLC for ‘Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun’ Is Out Today [Trailer]

Fans of the old-school shooter romp that is Warhammer 40,00: Boltgun have more to chew on today for PC, Xbox and PlayStation players with the release of the game’s DLC, “Forges of Corruption”. Switch users will get their version at a later date.

Forges of Corruption adds a new chapter of content to Boltgun that features five levels with new environments inspired by the grim dark lore of Warhammer 40,000, as well as new enemies and weapons. Once again as Malum Caedo, you’ll have to stop Chaos corruption before it engulfs the entire world of Graia. New foes this time includes the monstrous Helbrute, the heavy weapon-wielding Havoc, and the vicious lightning claws of the Terminator.

Luckily for you, you’ve got some new firepower on your end to even the odds. You’ll burn hordes of heretics with your Multi-melta, or blow them away with the Missile Launcher.

Alongside the DLC, Boltgun has a new free update that introduces requested features by the game’s community. That includes the new Horde mode, with 4 difficulty levels and its own achievements, as well as adding a Navigation Guide to help direct players through the levels. That’s on top of the usual bug fixes and improvements.

Warhammer 40,00: Boltgun (which Aaron loved) is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
